In the hot climate of Myanmar, Burmese girls and women wear a unique tree-bark compound called thanaka on their faces, which acts both as a sun-block and as make-up.

Sometimes a rough circle, sometimes a delicate swirl, sometimes in intricate leaf patterns, thanaka is occasionally even smeared on arms and feet if you are working in the hot sun.

All UK orders are shipped Royal Mail small parcel, second class.

Any UK orders over £50.00 will qualify for free shipping... so please keep shopping!

Shipping rates for EU are £12.50 per order. And for outside EU the rates are £25.00 per order.
